"I was caught in the rain, wasting my time on the ground. It was you who could get me high with whatever you say. You're telling me something real"

There are puddles everywhere and green grass as far as the eye can see. I do believe I'm in Seattle. Everything else looks like Ripon, but it's raining like Seattle. No joke. Bring on the snow!

This Thanksgiving was the first in a while when we haven't gone up north to go skiing. We had a nice relaxing Thanksgiving at home in East Troy and went to see Casino Royale, the new James Bond movie, afterward. The most pleasant surprise of all pleasant surprises was Danny coming to visit and meet the family. Friday we head to Minnesota to visit my aunt, uncle, and grandpa. On our way out of town, we stopped by the nursing home to say goodbye and managed to sneak in a picture.

Saturday morning I got to meet Danny's parents. They were so nice! It's funny realizing not only how much we have in common, but how much our parents have in common too. Just ironic. Sorry, I'll stop being such a sap. But I'm a happy sap. ;-) Just throwin' that out there.

This week was the week of presentations. It's nice to have those out of the way. I dub next week the week of papers. And the week after will be the week of take-home finals. Then the week of much sleep. Man, I can’t wait for the week of much sleep...

Alright, a little side bar: Sudoku anyone? No really. I’m completely addicted. Not only to that, though, I also have sound a recent affinity for creating stuff -- anything really -- on Photoshop. Possibly in the week of much sleep I’ll have some time for that stuff.

Best of luck to everyone in the upcoming weeks with finals and whatnot!

Happy Holidays,
<3 Rebecca~
